Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?  (Romans 8:35)

Nothing can separate us from the love of Christ! In spite of the constant swirling of negative news, pummeling of fear, and the growing concerns in the world around us, we have this hope: NOTHING can separate us from the love of Christ. Today, Pastor Ryan reminds us of that good news and also challenges us to examine how God desires to use this time.

The Lord thy God in the midst of thee is mighty; he will save, he will rejoice over thee with joy; he will rest in his love, he will joy over thee with singing. Zephaniah 3:17

In spite of the rightful concerns during this season, we have a blessed hope and wonderful promise: God is with us! God’s ears are not deaf to our prayers, and He is not caught by surprise in this moment. God sees where we are! Pastor Andrew reminds us today that we can take courage and strength knowing that God is with us!

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Isaiah 41:10

Isn’t it encouraging to know that God is always with us? It has been said that the greatest promise of scriptures is simply, “I am with you!” Pastor Gentry reminds us today that over and over in the story of God and His people, He reassured them in troubling times not with the promise of deliverance or the promise of supernatural intervention, but simply with the promise of His presence. God extends the same promise to us today. No matter what happens in this world and no matter how much uncertainty may exist, He is always with us.

God is with us and we are with each other! Take time tonight and do something special with your family for family night. Have dinner together, play a game, do last night’s devotion, read the Bible, pray, simply be together.

Be sure to tune in on social media tomorrow for the Power of Promise video devotion and for a Kids’ Connection moment. If you have friends or family who are interested in receiving these emails, please share this email and have them subscribe!

Be blessed and remember, God is with you!
